Subject Your Name name Message message 7th LA 3rd and 4th Hour Students have begun their free choice novel unit.  They will be reading a novel of their choice, of 150+ pages, approved by me, completing weekly journal entries and vocabulary assignments.  Upon comlpetion, students will write a book report, create a story elements poster, and give a 60-90 second speech in front of the class.  All weekly assignments are posted below in the January and February calendars. 7th_LA_master_word_list.html 6th Grade Computers Student have been working on a PowerPoint project of Rome tying in with their most recent Social Studies unit. We've all learned new things including recording our voices! (Thanks Owen!) 5th Grade Media 5th graders are getting a taste of PowerPoint by working on a short presentation of their Native American information gained from their Social Studies project! It's a treat for me to see and hear the excitement when students learn something new! About Me This is my 10th year teaching at MOL schools. My family and I have lived here for the past 15 years. Our son is a senior at the high school and my husband works for the city doing maintenance and park and rec. work. He is also a member of the LF Volunteer Fire Dept. When I am not at work, I am quite active at my church. I spend quiet time reading, and family time fishing, game and card playing.
