SCRIP UPDATE FOR SUMMER
We welcome Ambiance @53, a local business, who recently joined our MOL Scrip Program! If you own a business and would like to learn how you can join the scrip program, please contact MOLMS Office (632-6742). Being a participant of scrip can benefit both your business and MOLS!!
Please also remember to place any Scrip orders for upcoming graduation, summer purchases, and Father’s Day! Please have your order form in to the office as soon as possible so it can be filled before the end of school. If you forget to turn it in, you can purchase Scrip in either school office through the end of the school year. Both St. Mary’s and OLOL’s parish houses have Scrip available during the week (all summer long) and it can be purchased after Masses. Holy Family Parish will have scrip available once a month after the weekend Masses. The last summer Scrip order will be placed on Wednesday, June 25th. This will be the last opportunity to order any specific certificates that you would like (that may not be in the Scrip boxes). June 25th is also the last day for purchases to count towards TUITION CREDIT for the 2008-09 school year.

NEW BUILDING PLANS FOR MOLMS
For many, many years MOLMS has needed more classroom space, especially for band and music classes. The MOL School Board created an Ad Hoc Committee to explore the space needs in the middle school building. The Committee recommended building an additional building site behind the gym to house all band and music classes. Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Council has approved this proposal. If all goes well, the goal is to have it built and ready by the beginning of the next school year.
Elementary School:
Technology Update
We've completed the Middle School technology drive and placed an order for 33 new iMacs. The new computers are scheduled to be delivered during the second week in June. If there are any current 7th and 8th graders who really enjoy working with technology and would love the opportunity to clean up the current iMacs for a move to the elementary building building and setup the new machines, please let Mrs. Becker or Mr. Schieffert know of your willingness to help out.
Final Announcements
• Our last Mass in the elementary building is on Wednesday, May 28 at 8:30 am. Fourth Grade students traditionally plan this since it is their last year in the building.
•Wacky Olympics for the elementary students will be Wednesday afternoon.
• The final student day is Friday, May 30th. Our building dismisses at 11:53. Please make sure you mark this time on your calendar if you plan on picking up your child.
• Report cards will be going home on Friday, May 30th.
LIBRARY BOOKS
Library inventory is being done next week at MOLES. Please remind your children that ALL library books are to be returned so they can be inventoried. If the student is currently reading an AR book, the student should bring it back to school everyday. We are also looking for volunteers to help us with this daunting task. Inventory is much easier with several people. If anyone would be willing to come in the evenings, I would also be willing to come in. The more volun-teers we have, the faster and more fun it will be. Please let the school know that you are willing to help. –Helen Funk, Librarian
READING SKILLS
We are in the final weeks of the school year and summer vacation for the students is not that far away. To keep your child's reading skills going over the summer months, we encourage you and your child/ren to participate in the summer reading program through the Great River Regional Libraries. This year's program theme is “Look What's Cookin”. It starts on Monday, June 16th – Saturday, August 16th. For further details, stop in at the Little Falls Library or at any of the other 37 regional libraries.
