MOL STUDENT-DESIGNED GREETING CARDS FOR SALE!
The MOLMS Playground Student Advisory Team worked together with the MOL K-8 homerooms and advisories to create a 20-pack all-occasion greeting card set designed by the students and are now being sold by Gr.5-8 students. They are also available for sale at the MOLE & MOLMS offices throughout the month of May ($14.00 per pack, which comes out to $.70 per card). They will be sold after this weekend's Masses at St. Mary's, OLOL, and Holy Family. PLEASE CONSIDER PURCHASING THIS BEAUTIFUL SET OF STUDENT-DESIGNED CARDS TO SUPPORT THE MOLMS' FINAL PLAYGROUND PROJECT, AS WELL AS OTHER MOLS NEEDS!

SCRIP UPDATE FOR SUMMER
Please remember to place your Scrip orders for upcoming graduation, summer purchases, and Father’s Day. Please have your order form in to the office as soon as possible so it can be filled before the end of school. If you forget to turn it in, you can purchase Scrip in either school office through the end of the school year. Both St. Mary’s and OLOL’s parish houses have Scrip available during the week (all summer long) and it can be purchased after Masses. Holy Family Parish will have scrip available once a month after the weekend Masses. The last summer Scrip order will be placed on Wednesday, June 25th. This will be the last opportunity to order any specific certificates that you would like (that may not be in the Scrip boxes). June 25th is also the last day for purchases to count towards TUITION CREDIT for the 2008-09 school year.

HOME & SCHOOL BY-LAWS APPROVED
MOL Home & School Association made some revisions to its by-laws with input requested by our school families. The revised by-laws were approved at the April Home & School Meeting. *Please see the attachment of these by-laws.

“STAFF MEMBER OF THE WEEK”
Pam Hopkins – Elementary Paraprofessional

Who is in your family? Daughter – Kelly (27), daughter – Holly (23), son – Cody (17)

Favorite Book? Marley and Me by John Grogan

Where would your dream vacation be? A few weeks in Costa Rica sounds great to me.

What is your favorite time of year? Autumn—the colors and the temperature.

What is your idea of a perfect day? To wake up and be somewhere with sun, sand, surf, a good book, and a cool beverage.

If you could have any pet, what would it be? I already have four cats so one more wouldn’t make a big difference.

What is the one object you cannot live without? Water

What was your favorite school lunch as a child? I lived two blocks from school so I ran home for lunch every day.

Who made a big difference in your life growing up? My second grade teacher, Margaret McLain.

If you could have a conversation with one person, who would it be? My maternal grandmother who passed away exactly one year before I was born.

Would you like to be a teacher who goes into space and lands on Mars? No, I am slightly claustrophobic and the idea of being in a spacesuit doesn’t appeal to me at all.

Other interesting facts: She has two other jobs (1) works for the L.F. school district at Kids Korner and (2) at the Movie Gallery. She likes heavy metal rock.
